Over the last week or so our new pool vendor (Candlewood) has been resurfacing our pool. The pool will be resurfaced with a product called Diamond Brite which is a premium product to a typical pool surface. This surface enables the pool to be resurfaced less frequently (greater than 10 years), has a rich finish and is idea for existing underground pools.
As far as color goes we picked a color called super blue. The board is excited about the resurfacing and we expect it to be a solid reliable finish for many years to come.
Even with the work we expect the pool to be opened on May 16th as planned.
